The TSU Department of Athletics hosted its annual Pro Day in the Gentry Center on Friday, March 16. There were 13 former Tigers and one Big Blue basketball player who participated. Some of the athletes that attended the Pro Day included seniors Jonathan Edwards, Jeremy Stevens, Gerald Morrow, Jarrett Morrow, Aaron Strong and basketball player Clarence Matthews. (0) comments
Tigers fall to Western Kentucky The Tennessee State Tigers softball team (19-7) dropped both games against Western Kentucky University (2-1) in the first and second game (6-3). This loss marks the first time this season the Tigers have dropped both games of a double header. (0) comments
TSU Tigerbelle Dominique Ward won the 200 and the 400-meter dash in the South Florida relays, held March 9-10. Ward won the 200-meter with a time of 24.98 and won the 400meter dash with a time of 55.52. Gladys Williams also had a strong showing by winning the high jump with a leap of 5'01. (0) comments
