In the third and final game of the invitational, the TSU Tigers (1-2) fell to the Auburn Tigers in four games (28-30,30-21,30-20,30-21). TSU Tigerbelles mourned the death of teammate Jocelyn Gardiner who was killed this summer. Tamara Washington officially moved into the position of a full-time assistant coach for the TSU Women's basketball team on Aug. 1, according to head coach Tracee Jones-Wells. "I believe that there's no place like home," Washington said.
