Nintendo has always been known for their innovation when it comes to creating games and systems. With this being the case, fans shouldn't be surprised that Nintendo took an unconventional approach with one of their hugely successful franchises' newest titles, WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

Smooth Moves greatly expands on what made the series so popular in the first place: outrageous micro-games. WarioWare places you in various situations from shaking the Wii-Mote rapidly to get bugs off of a banana to sawing a wooden log in half with only a few seconds to perform the correct function. Often times, the player won't even know what the task is.

While the concept might seem elementary at first, the madness that takes place in the duration of the game will have players looking crazy in front of their friends without even knowing it.
In terms of visuals, WarioWare does not disappoint. The cartoon-like art style really looks great.

The microgames are a different story. One second, you might see a 3-D model of a nose with a finger, and the next you might see polygonal characters reminiscent of those on the NES.

There is such a wide range of microgames with unusual styles, it's difficult to even say how the graphics on the game look.
Smooth Moves is by no means a difficult game. Anyone can pick it up and play.

One of the only drawbacks of the game is its length. In one sit down, it would only take about 2 ½ to 3 hours to complete, but that's not including going back and unlocking microgames that you may not have run across.

Bottom Line: WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a great addition to the still youthful Wii. Those afraid of looking like a complete idiot while playing this game need not apply. In the words of the tutorial screen, "Let go of all of your inhibitions."
