Since his brief yet significant appearance on Vh-1's The White Rapper Show, Dasit, a Toledo, Ohio, native has been heralded a "folk hero" by bloggers and reality television lovers everywhere.

Forced to succeed by his 3-D perspective of drive, determination and dedication, Dasit, whose real name is David Shinavar, went on VH-1's latest reality rollercoaster in search of more improvement and exposure, and in an ironic way did just that.

Q: Why go on the Show?

I already had a record deal when I was on the show. I was with M.C. Hammer and he was doing nothing with my career. If he had, I would have never gone on the show. He's the worst businessman in the world.

Like right now, I am going to have to sue him to make sure I get out of my contract. I'm working with an investor right now; they got a lot of money to give me all of the tools to compete in the industry. I could get a deal with Jive, but I'm gonna start my own label; I got control of my career. I've been selling records since 1996. Every since Eminem was selling records underground.

Q: So why didn't you write anything?

The message got out wrong, I should have told them that the show was wack. I was like this is retarded; this is my time to leave. We were not even allowed to listen to music. They took away my mp3 player. We were just doing stuff that was not even music related. You can ruin your image on a show like that.

Like John Brown might have a few skills but he will always be remembered by the incident with him and Persia when she put a dildo in his face and he just stood there, he didn't try to push her away or nothing.

Q: What about M.C.Serch?

(Serch) has probably only sold 3 million records. I don't think he's an icon. I think he's cocky. He's too big for his britches. I know other white rappers and they don't listen to his music like that. (Serch) has even been interviewed as saying he don't fool with crackers!

Q: Overall thoughts on the show?

It's like when they had the black game show and Sullee said it himself, 'What does this have to do with being an emcee?"
Some kids are not even old enough to know about Hip-Hop, so to quiz us on our knowledge is stupid.

They are not trying to find the next white rapper. The only mistake I made was trying to explain myself.

Q: Define Hip Hop.
I think Hip Hop for me is music as a whole. It's bigger than anything. It's like an old country record it tells about a struggle, you don't need a guitar to learn how to do it. It comes from the heart.

Rap music, is three whole verses of thought. It's the best way of expression and saying how you feel.

Q: Is hip hop dead?
No. Hip -Hop is never even close to being dead. Nobody has eve seen it's full potential. Something that grows this fast can't be held down.•

MC Serch is a fraud! His raps have always been weak. Eminem puts him to shame. MC Serch needs to do like Pete Nice and call it quits! Give it up Serch. (Continued…)
