What was supposed to be a fatal accident is an occurrence that hasn't even happened.

Moviegoers are in for a rollercoaster ride in the TriStar Pictures release, Premonition, as they join its cast to figure out the mysterious death of the main character's husband.

Released worldwide on March 16, the film was directed by Mennan Yapo(Framed) and written by Bill Kelly. It stars Sandra Bullock, Nia Long, and Julian McMahon. On one day, Jim (McMahon) is pronounced dead. The next day, he isn't.It all seems unreal for his wife, Linda (Bullock), who encounters thesame recurring nightmare of receiving devastating news of her husband tragically dying in a car accident.

But is Jim really dead? A strange twist is that some days Jim is lying next to Linda in the mornings and other days she is trying to restarther life after his death.

However, during the duration of the movie she realizes that the courseof the week is out of sequence, which leads her to map out every eventthat takes place. With no time to spare, she tries to saver every moment she can with her family.

The primary theme of the movie is centered on the idea of predestination.

In fact, the word premonition comes from the Latin root, "pramonere,"which means "to warn in advance." For years, people from all walks oflife have embodied the ability to prophesize future events before they ever occur.

Linda has the ability to see into the future, before the accidentactually occurs. Because of this ability, she realizes that shepossess the power to keep her husband dead or alive.

But after Linda finds out that Jim was planning an affair with his beautiful co-worker, she second-guesses if she should make keep theman she loves alive.

Bottom line: Premonition is spellbinding. It captures every incident that takes place leading up to and after Jim's death. The movie is detailed and very precise, as Menaan Yapo did not leave
out one scenario.
