Tigers drop last two in War Eagle Invitational

In the third and final game of the invitational, the TSU Tigers (1-2) fell to the Auburn Tigers in four games (28-30,30-21,30-20,30-21).

Big Blue's Kelly Davis and Candace Saleaumua both recorded double-doubles.

Davis had another solid game for the Tigers with 15 kills and 14 digs, while Saleaumua recorded 34 set assist and 12 digs.

Endia Oliver recorded seven blocks and was named to the All Tournament team. Oliver recorded 30 blocks in the War Eagle Invitational.

The TSU Tigers volleyball team fell in five games 3-2 to Troy (26-30,28-30,30-17,5-15) on August 25.

The Tigers offense was led by Kelly Davis, who recorded 13 digs, while Makena Naho'oikaika followed up with 12 digs.

Candace Saleaumua recorded 37 set assist for the Big Blue. Christian Lowe led the Tigers with 20 digs while Endia Oliver recorded 11 blocks.

In the first game of the invitational on August 24, the TSU tigers defeated Nicholls State 3-2 (30-20,26-30,26-30 30-24, 15-10).

Seniors Kelly Davis and Endia Oliver led the Tigers offense. Davis led the Tigers with 13 kills, while Oliver recorded 12 kills.

The Tigers newcomers had a huge impact on the game. Candace Saleaumua's debut consisted of a double double with 41 set assist and 15 digs.
