Oscar award winner Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner star in the latest Universal Studios movie thriller, The Kingdom.
The story begins as FBI special agent Ronald Fleury (Foxx) is deployed to Saudi Arabia to investigate a terrorist attack.
Garner plays Janet Mayes, who is apart of Fleury's investigative team and the FBI's forensic examiner.
The team, which also includes Chris Cooper as Grant Sykes and Jason Bateman as Adam Leavitt, only has five days to
investigate and solve a case that involves a terrorist bombing, which killed thousands of people including children.
As the team approaches the crime scene, they find it difficult to unravel the information needed to capture the predators.
At this time, Saudi authorities assign Fleury and his counterparts' translators, which are local police officers, to guide them on their trip.
Initially, natives were hesitant to speak about the bombings, but loosen their tongues as evidence begins to sprout up like wild fire around the crime scene and from the once reluctant witnesses.
Frightened by the speed at which the Americans are solving the case, the terrorists create a bomb meant to kill the entire investigative team.
Unfortunately for the terrorists, no one was hurt. Fleury and his team now have to confront the enemy to save one of their own, who is taken hostage.
Time becomes a serious matter at this point since the terrorists are now counting down to the execution of their American hostage.
The Kingdom is a fantastic movie. It depicts the reality that Saudi Arabians face as they deal with the threat of being killed by terrorists without any knowledge.
The Kingdom is a great thriller that will have many sitting at the edge of their seat until the end.
