Internship Oppurtunities in Washington D.C

The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars is offering internship opportunities for many public service agencies in Washington D.C. for this upcoming spring semester.
The Washington Center provides both, academic and work experience for college students who aim for achievement in the civic field. Academic credit towards the participant's field of study will also be applied for completing an internship.
The Tennessee State University and the Tennessee Board of Regents offers some additional scholarship opportunity for the cost of the internship.

Twelfth Annual Hall of Fame Induction Celebration
The Hall of Fame Committee is holding their Twelfth Annual School of Agriculture and Home Economics Hall of Fame Induction and Banquet Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7:00 p.m.
Past and present alumni, supporters, faculty, and staff will be honored for their outstanding achievements and services in the areas of agriculture, home economics, research, and extension.
This year's ceremony will be inducting Dr. Hazel Ogilvie Jackson and Dr. Melvin Wright, Sr.
The Hall of Fame Committee asks for support by sponsoring a table of 10 for $350.00, or purchasing individual tickets for $40.00.
