Public relations representative Patrick D. Calvin also doesn't want it to fall short.
"I want to continue to preach the importance of student involvement on TSU's campus," Calvin said. "The 'I Love TSU' campaign will be a movement that will sweep the campus of arrogance and apathy."
Calvin stresses that the campaign is student-operated and that it will continue to be for the betterment of the TSU student body.
Although at this time money isn't freely flowing, Calvin does say this movement cannot move forward without financial support.
"We will not be deterred," Calvin said. "Again I say that this is a student-run, student-operated and student-funded campaign. A budget will be essential to the operation of the campaign but if students truly care and love their institution of higher learning, then five or 10 (dollars) will be worth it."
The next "I Love TSU" campaign move will be visible at the Homecoming game on Saturday, Nov. 3. Students will be urged to sit in the Tiger Den, an area designated specifically for TSU students next to the band and pep club. Campaign administrators ask all students to wear their "I Love TSU" t-shirts.•

As alumni of TSU...this is a Great Idea...We need to wear out colors to the game more. We also should support the TSU bookstore, which has the best TSU clothing ever. (Continued…)

I believe the "I Love TSU" theme is a wonderful idea to promote spirit and enthusiasm for athlectics. Student support of the TSU athletic programs is greatly needed at a much higher level. (Continued…)
