In celebration of music, here are five stores that supply music to the Nashville community. In addition to providing general forms of entertainment, each store has one special thing in common: they are all very close to Big Blue Country.

Check out this list, and hopefully there will be one that becomes the place for purchasing the hottest music.

Jefferson Street Music
1305 Jefferson St.

Right down the street from TSU is a store that is tailor-made for music fans and folks that are looking for good music and a dose of hip-hop soul.

With good prices and a nice selection, this spot is made for music fans, living on a budget.

SoundStream
3101 Clarksville Pike # 6

Located "right around the corner" from TSU, this store provides new music and classic cuts. It also, like most music stores, will order what it doesn't have, just for you.

This store, which is very close by (I can't stress that enough), receives new albums early and sells them too.

Grimey's
1604 Eighth Ave. S. Ste 110
This store is a legend in Music City. There is no other collection of "new and pre-loved" music in Nashville that can top the flavor given in this old music dive.

From fair to moderately outrageous prices, this store has the goods.

F.Y.E.
2400 W. End Ave.

Located in West End, which is probably the most famous street in Nashville among students and young hipsters, this centrally located spot is an easy bet for new music. For music fans in a rush for hot releases, you can pick them up here the night before scheduled release dates.

Warehouse Music
400 21st Ave. S. Ste 2

This is the least well known of the specialized music stores listed here, but is a favorite among the Vanderbilt set for housing lots of rarities and tons of fresh releases.

Nestled away in an unassuming shopping center on Broadway/21st, everyone can stop in here and not spend much dough for some good tunes.•
