Dictionary.com defines accountability as "a policy of holding schools and teachers accountable for students' academic progress by linking such progress with funding for salaries, maintenance, etc."

By this definition, is TSU's administration at fault for the current state of affairs? Has a lack of accountability caused the influx of problems the university is facing?

Students and teachers alike should be more accountable for their actions.

Accountability is a direct reflection of progress in certain aspects.

TSU's current administration woes could have been solved long ago. A lack of accountability is similar to a wildfire;
the more oxygen a fire receives, the larger it gets.

Community service, financial aid, student progress and other problems are nothing new. At the emergence of these problems, solutions should have been cultivated.

Staff reassignments, budget cuts and students being purged could have been adverted had these issues been addressed long ago.

When issues are initially discovered, they should be corrected. As students, as soon as we realize that our grades are suffering, everything in our power should be done to correct them.

If there is turmoil in an organization that we belong to, we must fix it before internal problems become public ones.

This trend should trickle down to our daily endeavors at TSU. As students of this institution, there should be more done to preserve our integrity.

If you see a potential problem with food safety, let it be known; it could prevent the university from closing down one of our food facilities. If campus security is a concern, say something before the security of the campus is put at risk.

In retrospect, the problems at TSU could more so be a problem with the administration not listening to student concerns. Financial aid has been an issue for students for quite a while.

Concerns with food service, living situations and student services are just a few items on a long list of things students worry about.
