In celebration for 2008's Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama, R&B crooner John Legend has recorded and released the song, If You're Out There.
While the single is included on Legend's third studio album, Evolver, he was able to perform If You're Out There for the politician and election that inspired him to write it.
"I wanted to write a rallying cry for everybody who is ready to make change happen," Legend said in a press recording after performing in the Democratic National Convention.
Following songs like Heal the World, We Are the World, You Will Know, and the Obama-supporting Yes We Can, Legend's track is charged with political power and emotion for change.
With a driving melody and moving lyrics, If You're Out There is definitely a must-hear.
Legend is already known for smooth jazzy soul, but now he can add social commentary to a worldwide audience.
