Dezirae Spain
Miss TSU

Classification: Junior

Hometown: Memphis

Major:Business Information Systems

Platform: One Team • One Goal • One Representation

Justifications: Spain simply has the presence of a Miss TSU and possesses the necessary qualities to win the title of Miss National Black Collegiate Alumni Hall of Fame.

She is very articulate and polished in appearance and has family ties to the crown as her sister Dairanetta served as Miss TSU 2006-2007.

Spain said plans to get back in the "family mode" of that "old TSU spirit." If elected, Spain also wants to hold everyone accountable for their actions from students to top administration.

Although Spain has the look of the universities' queen, she did not disclose practical methods in implementing her platform.

She was also "inexcusably late" for her initial interview, which forced her to reschedule.
