#1 Game/Tailgate Parties
If you do not attend any other game this football season, Homecoming is the one you don't want to miss.
Wearing I love TSU shirts, pom poms in hand, while singing pep songs cheering our Tigers into victory are all spectacles that can be expected. The many tailgate parties are also a welcome treat.

#2 HOMECOMING PEP RALLY
Aside from the game itself, the pep rally is the one of the main events of the entire Homecoming week.
This one event actually allows for alumni and current students to come together and enjoy each other and the sense of family that only TSU can provide.

#3 KAPPA TEA PARTY
No other event attracts young alumni and upperclassmen students quite like the Kappa tea party hosted by the Alpha Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Although the doors to the party do not open until 1:30 p.m., the lines start much earlier. The party is sure to provide lots of fun and free "tea" to the 21 and up crowd.

#4 Jefferson Street Vendors
For any student who wants to eat great food and find must-have Homecoming paraphernalia, there is no other place to go other than Jefferson Street.
For nearly the entire week of Homecoming, Jefferson Street will be littered with vendors offering almost everything a person will ever need to celebrate Big Blue Country for reasonable prices.
On the downside, the vendors are always first come, first serve.

#5 GREEK Step Show
During the step show, all the participating Greek chapters show off their hard work: stepping, hopping and tossing canes or "kanes" usually to various themes with the best taking home a trophy and monetary award.
Usually, there is a large crowd, but on the downside, each year is hit or miss, some year's pop while
others simply do not.

#6 HOMECOMING CONCERT
This years concert is not a favorite, but traditional. The $15-20 for the tickets could easily be spent on something else, but may appeal to a majority of students.
